ROLE: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Lead IT Project Manager
LOCATION: Sydney, Macquarie Park
SALARY: $1100-1300/day
 
We are working with an Australia Household name who is about to embark on one of the largest ERP Transformation in Country to locate a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & operations Lead IT Project Manager.
 
We expect this transformation to run from anywhere between 3-5 years  
 
PRIMARY PURPOSE
 
This position is primarily responsible for the end-to-end technical management of the “Systems & Integrations”
the stream of the ERP implementation project utilising the project management framework.
 
There will be an expectation to understand the current legacy systems/infrastructure landscape and facilitate the integration of these legacy systems into a cloud-based ERP solution – Microsoft Dynamics 365.
 
The IT – ERP Project Manager will provide technical guidance, manage resources, schedules, financials, and adhere to stage gate quality and methodology guidelines throughout the full development lifecycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The IT – ERP Project manager will coordinate the rollout of testing, quality assurance and contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery.
 
The IT – ERP Project Manager has the remit to run the end to end project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Project Management
 
   Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business.
   Manage all aspects of the project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
   Full project end to end life-cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to the deployment of several initiatives simultaneously
   Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
     Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
   Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
     Develop and execute estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
     Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
     Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and ensuring high-quality output delivered on time
     Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
   Manage project scope and changes, provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
     Drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
     Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution
   Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and services and manage the vendor to deliver to the scope and timeframe
   Manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders
     Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
     Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline
 
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
 
Based at the Macquarie Office, There is possible occasional travel to other locations.
 
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
 
Formal Education               
 
Tertiary qualifications in an IT related discipline
Strong working knowledge of MS project
 
Licences/Accreditations/ Memberships:

Relevant certification in Project Management (such as PMP or PRINCE2) Relevant certification in InfoSEC (such as CISSP or CISM) is highly desirable ITIL v3 certification is highly desirable
CSM certification is highly desirable

Experience:

EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES
   5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects, particularly in complex IT environments.
   5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
     Experience implementing ERP systems with multiple legacy integration/interfaces
     Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly desirable
     Experience with full Enterprise Service Bus stack (Dell Boomi highly desirable)
     Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
     Experience presenting to stakeholders and/or Leadership.
     Experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall and Iterative.

   Experience in end to end project management with a strong understanding of IT project management principles and processes.
     Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and application principles and frameworks.
     Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
     Keen attention to detail, with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
     Ability to lead, motivate and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
   Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives.
   Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
     Ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs.
   Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.
   Experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management.
   Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive sponsors, team members, stakeholders, and peers.
     Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
